External Drives Bring Data Storage Back Home.
Gregory Schmidt has a great article in the New York Times on some current external drive choices.

OS X: An Easier Keyboard Shortcut for Paste and Match Style.
One of the things when I moved to a Mac was when I cut and pasted a web address (e.g. www.sclarkconsulting.ca) the formating including the ‘http://“ was added when I pasted.  Some people don’t mind it, it drove me nuts and I’ve heard some others feel the same way.  Michael Johnston has a piece in Mac Observer on how to remap the standard paste shortcut so it will paste unformatted text.

Malware removal tools put to the test.
Malware continues to be a problem particularly on Windows computers.  Av-Test.org recently put some of the leading malware and anti-virus software to the test.  The results were not that surprising but in general, you should have anti-virus software running and if you suspect your system has malway one or more anti-malware tools to check it out.

Notebook Organization In Evernote.
Many of you know that I am a big fan of Evernote for organizing my digital life,  Evernote Ambassador Jamie Todd Rubin has a post on how he organizes his Evernote setup. Articles like this are great as you don’t have to follow every tip, but you can pick and choose what would work for you.
