Getting back to the Basics GTD style
Recently I have been very busy and with that disorganization starts to creep in. To this end I have made a conscious effort to return to a more focused effort in staying organized using Getting Things Done.
GTD is one of the best systems I know to help me keep organized and to avoid the stress of many things going on. In this system created by David Allen it is possible to keep a calm focus on the many things that demand our attention in this modern day world.
It’s a great feeling when you can focus on the most important task at that moment without worrying about other distracting thoughts swirling in your mind. This allows you to work on things with much greater focus.
In this series I’ll be documenting some best practices for getting back on the Getting Things Done (GTD) bandwagon. Even if you don’t use the entire system hopefully you will find some tips that are of use to you.
Question: What do find helps you stay organized?
