Even though you may have properly set your backups to notify you by email if there is a problem, it never hurts to sometimes check things.

I had one of the my blog backups notify me of a problem earlier today, after checking and correcting the problem, I took the opportunity to review the other website backups I have. I didn’t find any problems, but I did notice one or two options that would improve performance.

Sometimes backup software or plugins will add new features that are worth checking out. You may find a new feature or a way to make your backup run more efficiently.
