  wicker_man /Free Photos Apple made some new product announcements today. The most anticipated was a new version of the iPad. Instead of being called the iPad 3 as many expected, Apple has named it "The New iPad" Some quick features. The screen resolution goes from 1024x768 to 2048x1536. 264 pixels per inch which is double of the iPad 2. Xmarks Survives

In a previous post I said that Xmarks; an excellent bookmark backup and sync service was in danger of being shut down. Recently the company announced that they have been purchased by LastPass a online password manager service. This seems to be a good fit for both companies and will ensure that users will still keep the ability to synchronize and backup bookmarks across browsers.
