Xmarks Bookmark Service Closing (or not?)

Xmarks is a browser add on for all the major leading browsers.  I’ve been using for several years and it does an excellent job.  In a nutshell it keeps a copy of your browser bookmarks (or favorites in IE speak) to the cloud and allows you to synchronize them over multiple computers. Hard Drive Horror Stories

Here’s another case where you will be glad to have external backups. I read of a case recently where someone took their laptop into be serviced for a loose hinge.  During the repair the service company apparently replaced the hard drive because it was ‘defective’. Speaking at PhotoCamp London

Just a very quick post to say I’ll be speaking on Saturday Sept 11th at PhotoCamp London. My presentation is titled, Backups For Photographers A Necessary Evil.
