Xmarks Survives

In a previous post I said that Xmarks; an excellent bookmark backup and sync service was in danger of being shut down. Recently the company announced that they have been purchased by LastPass a online password manager service. This seems to be a good fit for both companies and will ensure that users will still keep the ability to synchronize and backup bookmarks across browsers.

Speaking at PhotoCamp London

Just a very quick post to say I’ll be speaking on Saturday Sept 11th at PhotoCamp London. My presentation is titled, Backups For Photographers A Necessary Evil. The session starts at 11am in the Learners Room but there are many other great sessions as well. This also marks a return to public speaking, something I have not done in a long time.
